All of the ministry that goes on at St Mary's is dependent, under God, on the generous giving of church family members and a few other supporters. This giving provides the vast majority of our income.

Our spending is monitored and controlled by the PCC (elected representatives of the church), and this, with the annual publishing of our accounts, ensures our resources are used in the most effective and God-honouring way possible.

The Bible encourages us to give to gospel ministry, but only after we’ve grasped and enjoyed that God has first given us everything in Jesus. It is out of his generosity to us, that we are freed to give cheerfully.

If you’d like to give to the ministry at St Mary's there are a number of ways to do so, including one-off donations and legacies. The most helpful way is through a commitment to regular giving.

As a church we are part of the “Parish Giving Scheme” which, if you are able, is what we would invite you to consider giving through. This is a system that is secure, confidential and easy to use for you, whilst also significantly streamlining the administration required of our Treasurer. An information pack is provided below that shares more about the scheme. If you would like to give through the scheme, but would rather not do so online, a Giving Form is also linked below.

If you are a UK taxpayer, we would encourage you to complete a Gift Aid declaration to allow your donation to go further.
