Home Groups
Home groups are exactly that, a smallish (6–12) group of people from church or those who want to know Jesus. The vision for the groups is that they are where we can walk together bringing our real lives to the real Jesus.
We meet in church members' homes weekly to walk together in faith … pray, explore the Bible and develop friendships.
We have a number of home groups located in and around East Leake. All you have to do to join is talk to us! We can put you in touch with the home group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
We also run a weekly groups called Roots. Roots is digging into Lukes gospel together. The aim is for it to be a place where people can explore and question and, as with house groups, bring our real lives to the real Jesus. Perhaps you feel you’re scratching the surface in faith or you want to dig deeper. Wherever you are along that journey, you’d be most welcome - our prayer is that they will be safe spaces in which all of us can move forward in our faith (growing deeper roots!).
Two separate Roots groups are on the go: Tuesday evenings (7:30-8:30pm) and Friday mornings (10:30-11:30am). We meet for an hour each week across the year (with various breaks along the way). You’d be most welcome to come along and see if it’s something you would like to join in on. You can get in touch with Revd Daniel to find out more: daniel@eastleakechurch.org.
